The Primary Languages for Backend Programming
By Greg Garner of Concept-Builder.com
Backend programming is beneficial for any website that needs to run scripts, add security, and much more. There are three primary backend programming languages used on the Internet. These three languages include PHP, Perl, and Apache. There are tons of different programming languages that can be used. These three are the most popular and the best options. PHP is usually a language of choice for a web programmer because it is a fast language. PHP is a backend programming language that is full of features, including OO, a rich set of libraries, and more. PHP can be used in large applications and even small contact scripting techniques. PHP is easy to learn and easy to use. The libraries will allow you to do almost anything you want them to do. Perl is a backend programming language that is a classic. This language has been around for years. It has the capability to run CGI scripts and it also has the largest set of libraries and modules than any other type of programming language. This language is top of the line for programming and considered to be the Swiss Army knife of programming. Perl is most commonly used to write scripts, cron jobs, and do various maintenance on a website. Apache is another backend programming language that is a useful language because of the stability it provides. This language can provide all of the features you need to serve websites and media in any production environment. If you need a custom version built then apache is usually the best option. You can build almost anything from source. You also don’t need to enable all of the modules. You can only enable those needed, configure the files for your web server and you are good to go. There are three primary backend programming languages you might consider using for your websites. The most common languages are Apache, Perl, and PHP. PHP has the easiest libraries to use when it comes to custom configurations. However, Apache is best for a complete customization. Perl is top of the line and the best backend language because you can do so much with it. There are handfuls of programming languages people use when they build certain functionalities on the Internet. The importance is that all web pages work with every browser out there and every type of operating system available. Perl, Apache, and PHP are the best languages to use for backend programming.
